Lausanne, Switzerland, March 19, IRNA Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif said Thursday that he will stay in Lausanne as long as it is required to negotiate over a deal on Iran's peaceful nuclear program.

Zarif was speaking to reporters after a meeting with US Secretary of State John Kerry, when asked how long they will continue with their talks in Lausanne.

'Currently, we see ourselves in the final stage of negotiations that requires more intensive talks,' Zarif said.

Zarif also said that negotiations are very complicated. However, he noted that they are making good progress.

He said that in order to reach a mutual understanding they have to do much more and that further talks are needed.
