Kuwait, March 10, IRNA Majlis Speaker, Ali Larijani, said on Tuesday that given Iran-Kuwait friendly and good ties, the country was briefed on Iran-G5+1 nuclear talks.

Larijani, who is in Kuwait, added after a meeting with his Kuwaiti counterpart Al-Marzaouq Al-Qaem, 'We had very good talks in line with promoting bilateral parliamentary relations.'

'During the meeting, we exchanged views on major regional developments. We also discussed constructive role of Kuwaiti emir in regional issues,' he said.

Kuwiti emir's visit to Tehran was a very successful visit during which good agreements were reached.

Noting that Kuwait is a friend country of Iran, Larijani said, 'Our relations with Kuwait were always good and for the same reason, we have always briefed it on nuclear talks.'

Describing today's negotiations as 'constructive and positive,' Majlis Speaker said, 'Given regional implications, we should promote our convergence.'

'Iran will serve regional states as much as it can,' he said, adding that Iran believes the countries should stand alongside each other to help establish stability in the region.

Al-Qaem, for his part, said that today's talks with Iran's Majlis speaker were transparent and frank.

'During the meeting, we discussed Iran's nuclear program,' he said, hoping that nuclear talks will produce positive results.
