TEHRAN (Tasnim) Tehran's provisional Friday prayers leader underlined Iran's logical stance in nuclear talks, and said the country will be the winner regardless of the final outcome of ongoing talks between Iran and the world powers on Tehran nuclear energy program.
Addressing worshippers here in Tehran, Ayatollah Mohammad Emami Kashani underscored that the possible failure of nuclear talks between Iran and the Group 5+1 (Russia, China, the US, Britain, France and Germany) will not cause any problem for Tehran.
I state clearly that if Iran reaches an agreement with the (Group) 5+1, the both sides will win and the result will be win-win one but if they do not come to an agreement, Iran will be the winner because Iran showed the world that our logic was right, the cleric noted.
Hitting back at the Israeli prime ministers anti-Iran speech to the US Congress, Ayatollah Emami Kashani referred to the Zionist regime of Israel as the root cause of insecurity in the world.
In a Tuesday speech to the US Congress, Netanyahu warned of a very bad nuclear agreement between Iran and world powers, accused Tehran of seeking a nuclear bomb, and proposed the idea of war on Iran as an alternative to a deal.
In reply, Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif said Netanyahu seeks to foment tension.
Parliament Speaker Ali Larijani also cautioned the US to expect to see Israel in a wheelchair if the Tel Aviv regime dares take military action against Iran under the US congress support.
The Israeli threat came as Iran is in talks with the six nations to hammer out a final agreement to end more than a decade of impasse over Tehrans civilian nuclear energy program.
The latest round of talks came to an end in Switzerland on Thursday with the aim of narrowing down the remaining differences ahead of a deadline for a final agreement by June 30.
