Tehran March 3, IRNA � Iranian Music Society and Azerbaijan Republic Conservatory (ARC) plan to perform a joint musical program.




Manager of ARC's Intenational Relations Department Jahangir Salim Khanov visited Iranian Music Society and conferred with the Society's Managing Director Ali Torabi on bilateral cooperation.

In the meeting, Salim Khanov presented a report on Mugham Music Festival which is held in Azerbaijan Republic biennially and ARC is in charge of holding it this year.

Meanwhile, Torabi suggested that the two musical institutes cooperate to facilitate performance of the two sides artists in the other country and the music festivals Fajr and Mugham support the winners in their competition sections.

The prestigious biennial Mugham Music Festival started in 2009.
