Head of the Iranian Chamber of Commerce Gholam-Hossein Shafeyee[/caption]Bandar Abbas, Hormuzgan Prov., Feb 26, IRNA A senior official said Hormuzgan Province is the breathing space of Iran's international economy, adding that for different reasons the province is highly important at regional and global level.
Chairman of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture Chamber Gholamhossein Shafeie who was speaking at a provincial conference on investment opportunities, further remarked that with regard to the role projected for Bandar Abbas in international economic formations, including D8 and ECO, the provident would take advantage of this golden opportunity for participating in regional economy.
He termed security as the basic factor in attraction and absorption of investment and said it is here that the investors would pin hope in attraction and profitability of the projects.
He said: When we say security we do not mean physical security as Iran is among the most secure countries of the world and the region; rather we mean the macro economy of the country that how much stability we will have and how much we can be assured of the long-term future in stabilization of regulations.
Stressing that there is no problem concerning rules and regulations he noted what is important is that the investors can be at least assured of the future of their investment.
Shafeie said Hormuzgan is among the most important coastal region of the country for implementation of marine-based plans and economic projects and plans for its development should be drawn up and formulated on this basis.
