Iran's Perspolis football team[/caption]TEHRAN (FNA)- Iran's Persepolis Team, with a stormy start, defeated the Qatari Lekhwiya three-nil in the first match of group A of the Asian Champions League.
The first half of the match, that was hosted by the Iranian team on Monday, ended without goal.
In the second half, however, Persepolis pushed further and in the 60th minute it was Persepolis defender Mohsen Bengar who headed the first goal of his team.
In the 65th second, Hadi Norouzi scored the second goal of Persepolis from a nice pass from Mehdi Taromi and then Captain Mohammad Nouri scored the third goal from a penalty kick in the 83rd minute.
