Iran, US to resume nuclear talks in Geneva on Friday

Tehran, Feb 19, IRNA Deputy Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi on Thursday said bilateral nuclear talks will be resumed between the Iranian and US nuclear teams on Friday at the deputy ministerial level in Geneva and will be followed by the meeting of foreign ministers of the two country.




The deputy ministerial talks will be attended by Araqchi and Majid Takht-Ravanchi of Iran and their American counterpart Wendy Sherman who leads the US nuclear team.

According to Araqchi, the Iranian and US foreign ministers Mohammad Javad Zarif and John Kerry are to join the talks on Sunday and Monday.

At the end of the four days of bilateral talks between the Iranian and US nuclear delegations, discussions will possibly continue with the participation of all members of the Group 5+1, Araqchi added.
