Dar-es-Salaam, Tanzania, Feb 5, IRNA - Visiting Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif said here on Thursday that the resistance economy is a strategic policy for Iran.
Addressing a group of Iranian nationals in Tanzania, Zarif pointed out that the resistance economy should be considered as a role model in internal and foreign policies.
He further stressed the necessity of developing an oil-free economy for getting free from oil ups and downs and the international pressures.
Zarif arrived in Dar-es-Salam on Wednesday, on the last leg of his East African tour.
The Iranian foreign minister has already visited Kenya, Uganda and Burundi and held talks with high ranking officials of those countries on expansion of mutual relations as well as the latest regional and international developments.
The visits took place upon official invitations of Zarif?s counterparts in those countries.
