
Ms. Mohammed made the remarks in a joint press conference with Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif.
'Nairobi is particularly interested in expansion of cooperation in oil and gas fields,' she added.
Meanwhile, the Kenyan foreign minister said that the Kenyan government supports Iran's natural right to benefit from the full cycle of the nuclear technology for peaceful purposes, stressing that Kenya recognizes Iran's nuclear rights for peaceful purposes.
The Iranian top diplomat embarked on tour of four African countries on Sunday and arrived in Kenya on the first leg of the African tour.
He left Kenya for Uganda on Monday evening.
