TEHRAN (ISNA)- Iranian Navy Commander Habibollah Sayyari said the countrys marine supplies in northern Indian Ocean are similar equipment belong to mighty countries.
Iranian Navy holds the most upgraded equipment built locally, he said, adding, Iranian marine equipment in northern Indian Ocean and the Gulf of Aden are similar to those of countries which are mighty in terms of Naval power.
Countries which are in northern Indian Ocean and the Gulf of Aden and are strong in terms of naval power and regard Iran as a mighty country.
Iranian Navy is a strategic force whose presence in high seas is important and strategic for Iran,"We are seeking continuous presence in high seas."
Sayyari continued that Iranian Navy presence in Oman Sea and northern Indian Ocean aims to confront colonial countries moves which are after dominating different countries, water, waterways and seas.
