TEHRAN Jan 28(Shana)--Director of research and technology at the National Iranian Oil Company Mohammadali Emadi said the company cooperates with international oil companies (IOC) for implementation of its enhancing oil recovery (EOR) projects.
Addressing the first meeting of board of trustees of the research institute of enhancing recovery rate from oil and gas reservoirs, Emadi said the research institute is currently focused on studying four enhancing oil recovery projects.
South Pars gas field, as well as Esfand, Ramin and Bibi Hakimeh oil fields make up the four projects the institute is studying with the goal of enhancing recovery rate, he said. According to the NIOC official, on the course of studying enhancing recovery rate projects the institute cooperates closely with domestic and international scientific and research bodies.
Emadi named the followinguniversitiesand research centers as the main bodies that the institute is in close contact with for research purposes: Tehran Universitys Oil Institute, Research Center of Tabrizs Sahand University of Technology, Sharif University Of Technology, Bushehrs University of Persian Gulf, Amir Kabir University of Technology, Academic Jihad, Research Institute of Petroleum Industry (RIPI), Pardis Park of Technology and Energy Institute.
