Current Iran-Russia nuclear development contract to remain priority in 2015

Moscow and Tehran aim at completing their energy contracts in 2015. In 2014, Russia and Iran agreed on the construction of the second and third blocks of the Bushehr NPP.

MOSCOW, January 27 (Sputnik) Moscow and Tehran have no plans tosign additional contracts in2015 onthe use ofpeaceful nuclear energy because the current agreements will remain a priority, Iranian Ambassador toRussia Mehdi Sanaei told RIA Novosti inan inteview Tuesday.
Iran and Russia are working onnuclear energy and in2014 a contract was signed onthe construction ofthe second and third blocks ofthe Bushehr [nuclear power facility] and a memorandum onintent was signed onthe joint production offuel, Sanaei said.

We must try tocomplete the contracts in2015, the ambassador added.

In regard toplans ofTehran and Moscow signing additional contracts in2015, Sanaei said the two countries are not expected toand are only completing the current ones.
