Tehran, Jan 17, IRNA - Iran's Ambassador to Slovenia Morteza Darzi Ramandi in a meeting with Slovenian Culture Minister Julijana Bizjak Mlakar on Saturday called for expansion of cultural ties with this European country.
��Darzi Ramandi underscored that reinforcing mutual cultural cooperation would lead to a better understanding from the culture, customs, traditions, cultural heritage and civilization of both countries.
He also voiced Iran's readiness to expand its cultural and artistic cooperation with Slovenia.

Bizjak Mlakar, for her part, emphasized the need for fostering cultural cooperation with Iran.

She also voiced the Slovenian officials' enthusiasm to hold several joint cultural and artistic programs in this European country with Iran.
