TEHRAN Jan 13(Shana)--An international energy exhibition has kicked off in the Persian Gulf island of Kish.
European and American companies are taking part in the exhibition in the Persian Gulf island of Kish.
The event, which is its 11th, started work on Monday and will run for four days. A total of 200 companies have registered to attend the exhibition. They include 130 Iranian companies and 70 foreign companies from the US, China, Italy, Germany, England, South Korea, France, Spain, Poland, Czech Republic, Slovenia, Ireland, Switzerland, Belgium, Austria, the Netherlands, Denmark, Canada, Sweden, Albania, Egypt and the United Arab Emirates.
The exhibition is sponsored by Petroleum Ministry. Participants will have a chance to showcase their latest achievements in the energy sector. The event is being held on 12,000 square meters of land.
