In the meeting held on the sidelines of the 131st meeting of Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU), the two top parliamentarians called on relevant officials to utilize entire capacities of their countries to boost Tehran-Belgrade cooperation.

Also in November, Iranian and Serbian officials in a meeting in Belgrade underlined the two countries' interest in the further development of bilateral relations, specially in the field of economy.

Serbia's First Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic in a meeting with Fahimpour stressed the two countries' cultural and traditional commonalities and existence of a positive atmosphere and the Serbian nation's interest in the Iranian culture and tradition.

During the meeting, the two sides referred to friendly relations between Iran and Serbia, and called for expansion of ties and bilateral cooperation, specially in economic field.
