
Qassem made the remarks while addressing the 28th International Conference on Islamic Unity in Tehran.
If Muslims become united, with no doubt, peace and tranquility will restore to the Islamic staes, he added.
The Islamic world are facing with three important issues including the US presence in the region, Takfiri movement and occupation of Palestine, he said, adding these issues have nothing to do with religion.
The 28th international Conference on Islamic Unity opened in Tehran on Wednesday in the presence of President Hassan Rouhani.
Over 550 scholars from 77 countries are participating in the three-day gathering.
