Tehran, Jan 5, IRNA � Foreign Ministry spokesperson said on Monday that media cooperation between Iran and Afghanistan helps complement neighborly ties.
��According to Foreign Ministry Media Department, Marzieh Afkham in a meeting with Afghan Deputy Minister of Information and Culture Simin Hassanzadeh and accompanying media delegation said that considering the propaganda campaign ushered in by the western media, we need to illuminate public opinion.
Simin Hassanzadeh expressed hope that mass media of the two countries, including news agencies, TV networks and newspapers by creating ties and close cooperation with each other prepare ground for broadcasting correct news.

In the meantime, the two parties reviewed trend of Iran-Afghanistan ties in different fields and role of media in helping develop mutual relations.
