TEHRAN, Dec. 30 (MNA) � Iran wrestling federation officially announced its readiness to host the world wrestling competitions in 2018.
In a formal letter to the United World Wresting, IWF proclaimed its nomination for hosting the competitions of free style and Greco-Roman style in 2018.


Iran has hosted the world free style competitions in 2002.


With a long history in wrestling intertwined with its culture and even literature, Iran is one of the countries with high profile in wrestling.
