TEHRAN (Tasnim) - Iranian international midfielder Andranik Teymourian has left Esteghlal by mutual consent in search of a 'fresh challenge'. The 31-year-old midfielder, who has been linked with Tractor Sazi and Persepolis, has quit the Blues with a six-month remaining on his contract. Teymourian was one of the key members of the Iran's World Cup. He began his career with Oghab in 2002 and joined Bolton after a stunning performance in the 2006 World Cup. Teymourian has also played for Premier League Fulham, championship side Barnsley, Qatari Al-Kharitiyath and Tractor Sazi.
