ISLAMABAD, Dec 12 (APP): Federal Minister for National Regulations andServices, Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan called on Iranian Charge D Affairs H.E HosseinRavesh at ministers office.His Excellency Hossein Ravesh was here to formally invite Federal MinisterDr. Firdous Ashiq Awan, to International Health Tourism Conference scheduled onDecember 18 to 19, 2012 at Mashad,Iran.Talking to H.E Iranian Charge D Affairs Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan said hervisit to Iran would strengthen the mutual relations in Health Sector.She appreciated the quality of health services available to Iranian peoplethat is the result of Iranian Governments successful heath reforms.
She apprised the participants of the meeting that thousands of foreignersarrive at Iran from across the world for Diagnostic procedures and major surgeries.
Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan thanked Iranian Ambassador for invitation and statedthat Iran is contributing a lot to share its experiences with all regionalcountries.
She added that the representation of Pakistan through her participationwill not only strengthen the existing linkages in Health Sector, but would alsoexplore new avenues in medical cooperation.
