TEHRAN, Dec. 20 (MNA) � Mehran city governor has announced that Mehran customs trading activity has been resumed.
In an interview to Mehr News, Morad Naseri said, �after a short pause due to the high volume of traffic during Arbaeen, Mehran border customs trade activity has resumed.�


He said business owners could go to the border for office works and commercial dealings.


"Based on the latest surveys carried out," Naseri said, "838 thousand tons of goods worth of $332.5 million have been exported to Iraq through Mehran border during the first half of the current Iranian year, which indicates 14% rise compared compared to last year."


�More than a thousand trucks carrying export goods enter Iraq across the international border every day,� Naseri said, noting that Mehran international border is one of the most important gates of pilgrim traffic as well as exporting Iranian goods to Iraq.
