Tehran, Dec 14, IRNA Iran is to establish some 50 Nano research centers in the country, said the Education Minister Ali Asghar Fani.
The minister made the remarks, Sunday morning, in the opening ceremony of the 15th Exhibition of Technological and Research Achievements of Iran.
He explained: Currently a total of 401 Students research centers are active in the country and by the end of the 11th government, we have planned to increase the centers to 752. A research-oriented country requires preparing schools and students for researching.
Cooperating with the scientific and technological department of the presidential office, we will open 50 Nano research centers in the country by the end of the 11th government, he noted.
The 15th Exhibition of Technological and Research Achievements of Iran, 14th to 17th December, is underway in Tehrans International Fair Grounds.
A major part of the expo is dedicated to the achievements of universities, research institutes, science and technology parks.
