TEHRAN Dec 06 (Shana)--Managing director of the National Iranian Oil Company Roknoddin Javadi called on manufacturers and research centers to take part in the strategic drive for indigenizing production of oil industry equipment and technologies.In a message to a specialized exhibition kicked off today in Ahvaz city provincial capital of Khouzestan province, Javadi said: "The exhibition has created a unique opportunity for the private sector and state-owned companies to exchange their knowledge and experiences and take great steps toward self-sufficiency in oil industry."
Voicing NIOCs support for domestic manufacturers, he said relentless efforts by experts, creativity, innovation by research and engineering sectors in the move towards indigenizing, mainly in recent years, have opened a new horizon ahead of oil industry where acquiring technical knowhow and mass production of too many of parts and machineries is one of its fruitful results.
NIOCs managing-director also appreciated the great efforts made for holding the specialized oil industry exhibition specially by NIDC and NISOC.
The specialized exhibition of manufacturing oil industry equipment opened today in Ahvaz. The four-day event has been arranged by NISOC and NIDC to promote interaction in oil industry and bring together oil companies, manufacturers and experts.
