Tabriz, E Azarbaijan Prov., Nov 30, IRNA � Managing Director of Aras Free Zone Mohsen Khadem Arab Baghi said support for investors in free zones is the main strategy of the government, adding that support for real investors is the main strategy of this free zone.
��Speaking at a session with economists of the zone on Sunday, Khadem Arab Baghi further remarked that the aim of establishing free zones is facilitating economic activities but unfortunately the required infrastructures have not been created for realization of this target.
Stressing on the need for presence of foreign banks in free zones, the official said investment advantages and opportunities are unprecedented in the zone, adding that through serious efforts they should gain their real position.

Asked to comment on increase in tariffs and price of land in Aras Free Zone, the managing director said those measure which affect investment in the zone are not approved and revision should be made on the basis of the law.

�Support and protection of investment is among our main duties and in dealing with such an important task we need cooperation of local people who should take serious measures for investment and greater development in Aras.
