TEHRAN (FNA)- Speaker of Russias Lower House of Parliament, the State Duma, Sergey Naryshkin suggested on Tuesday that Europeans should expel the United States from NATO."I have got a fantastic proposal: I suggest that European partners should expel the US from the bloc (NATO)," Naryshkin told an international roundtable on ways to resolve the crisis in Europe, Itar-Tass reported.
The Russian politician expressed confidence that after the proposed step the level of stability and security in Europe will rather quickly return to the one it should be.
The North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) is a 28-member military alliance based on the North Atlantic Treaty which was signed in 1949 in Washington D.C. by 12 founding members - United States, United Kingdom, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, France, Iceland, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway and Portugal.
