TEHRAN (FNA)- Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian underlined the country's influential role and clout in resolving the regional crises, and said the world has now admitted to this reality.
"We should not expect the resolution of regional problems without Iran's partnership and this role is evident to the entire international community," Amir Abdollahian said in a meeting with Senegalese President's special envoy in Tehran on Sunday.
The Iranian deputy foreign minister pointed to Iran's scientific and technological achievements, and said, "Iran is determined to cooperate with the friendly and Muslim country of Senegal in different fields."
The Senegalese president's special envoy, for his part, voiced his pleasure in his visit to Iran, and said, "Iran is an important country in the region."
