Tehran, Nov 24, IRNA - Deputy Foreign Minister for Consular Affairs Hassan Qashqavi arrived in Baghdad on Sunday night to discuss execution of extradition deals with Iraqi officials.
He is scheduled to meet Iraqi high ranking officials on Monday to discuss implementation of previous agreements as well as removal of visa requirements between the two states.
Iran and Iraq have signed several accords to extradite 'convicts and criminals' wanted by the two neighbors.
Iran and Iraq have enjoyed growing ties ever since the overthrow of the former Iraqi dictator, Saddam Hussein, during the 2003 US invasion of the Muslim country.
