Tehran, Nov 5, IRNA � Iran's national beach soccer team defeated United Arab Emirates 2-1 in Beach Soccer Intercontinental Cup on Wednesday.
With victory over UAE, Iran's team, defending its championship title in this tournament, increased its chance to rise to the second round of the competitions.
In its first match, Iran was defeated 4-2 by the Portuguese team.

On Thursday, Iran plays against Morocco.

The fifth round of Beach Soccer Confederation Cup is being held in the United Arab Emirates.

Iran became the champion of the last confederation cup.
