TEHRAN (Tasnim) - Iran was defeated against Japan in the 4th Asian Youth Water Polo Championship on Tuesday.
Iran lost to defending champion Japan 14-5 in the competition is underway in Jakarta, Indonesia.
The Iranian team defeated Uzbekistan 14-9 in its first match on Monday.

Iran will play Singapore on Wednesday.

Host Indonesia, Iran, Japan, China, Uzbekistan and Singapore are competing in a round robin format.

In the previous edition held in Singapore, Japan won the title and Iran and Kazakhstan finished in the second and third places respectively.
