Kazan, Oct 30, IRNA - Tatarstan President Rustam Minikhanov in a meeting with Iran's Vice President for Scientific and Technical Affairs Sorna Sattari on Thursday stressed promotion of all-out cooperation with Iran.
According to Tatar-Inform State News Agency, the Tatar president called for further boost in economic cooperation with Tehran.
Iran and Tatarstan have the potential to enhance the level of trade exchanges between the two states, he added.

Minikhanov appreciated Tatarstan's relationship with Iran based on Tehran-Moscow ties.

Sattari, for his part, welcomed development of ties with Kazan and noted that Iran is ready to transfer its experiences to Tatarstan.

Sattari arrived in Kazan on Wednesday on an official visit.
