Israeli military forces have abducted at least six Palestinians, including a Hamas spokesperson, and injured several others during raids in the occupied West Bank.
Palestinian sources, speaking on condition of anonymity, said on Monday that the Palestinians were arrested after Israeli troops stormed several refugee camps near Ramallah and Bethlehem overnight.

The sources added that a spokesman for the Palestinian Hamas resistance movement, identified as Saed Abu al-Bahaa, was also abducted after Israeli forces raided his house in the town of Beitunia, located 3 kilometers (1.9 miles) west of Ramallah.

According to Palestinian medical officials, several children suffered tear gas inhalation after Israeli forces attacked Aida refugee camp, situated 2 kilometers (1.2 miles) north of Bethlehem. The kids were all treated.

On Monday, Israeli forces detained over a dozen Palestinians for allegedly hurling stones at them.

The development came a day after scuffles broke out between Palestinian mourners attending the funeral procession of 14-year-old Orwa Abd al-Hadi Hammad, who was shot dead by Israeli forces on October 24, in the West Bank village of Silwad, located 12 kilometers (7 miles) northeast of Ramallah.

The situation remains tense in the occupied West Bank. Clashes have been taking place every night after Israelis said a Palestinian driver, identified as Abdel Rahman al-Shaludi, rammed his car into a railway stop in al-Quds (Jerusalem), killing a baby girl and injuring eight others on October 22. He later died of injuries sustained from Israeli forces� gunfire.

The Tel Aviv regime claims that the incident was deliberate, but the family members of the 21-year-old driver say it was an accident.
