INCHEON (Tasnim) - Danial Souraniyan of Iran won a gold medal in the Men's Shot Put - F35/36 in the 2014 Asia Para Games on Wednesday.
The athlete won the gold medal with a throw of 12.44meters.
Iraqi Jabbar Salih Mahmood Al-Azzawi seized the silver with 11.86meters and bronze medal went to Murtadha Ali Ahmed Albayati also from Iraq with a throw of 11.45meters.
Iran has previously won 12 gold medals in the games.

Erfan Hosseini won the gold medal in the men's javelin throw F1213.
Sareh Javanmardi earned the gold medal in the Mixed 50 meter pistol SH1.
Discus thrower Alireza Mokhtari clinched a gold medal in the mens F51/52/53.
Peyman Nasiri won the gold medal of the Men's 1,500m T20 final.
Sareh Javanmardi claimed a gold medal in the Women's P2-10m Air Pistol-SH1.
