TEHRAN Oct 19 (Shana)--Vietnam is willing to sign agreements with Iran to receive raw materials for its energy sector, a top commercial official said.
Doan Duy-khuong, vice-chairman of Vietnams Chamber of Commerce and Industries said a memorandum is to be signed with Iran in the near future.
He said that Iran-Vietnam 40-year-old ties require further economic cooperation between the two countries.
The official said his country favors ties with Iran in different petrochemical, agriculture, fishing, tourism and food sectors.
A 13-member economic and trade delegation from Vietnam is visiting Iran's oil-rich Khuzestan province.
