Tehran, Oct 14, IRNA - Iran Police Chief Brigadier General Esmail Ahmadi Moqaddam on Tuesday rejected speculations that a plane crash in southeastern Iran was a "shot-down".
Speaking to reporters, Ahmadi Moqaddam said a team of expert are investigating the cause of the fatal crash.
He said that the cause of the crash would be announced in due time.
An Iranian police plane crashed late on Saturday killing four officers.
All seven passengers on board were martyred when the twin-engine turboprop Commander aircraft crashed in the mountains outside Sistan-Baluchestan's capital of Zahedan.
They were on a mission from Tehran to investigate the killing of four Iranian police officers in the province.
