TEHRAN Oct 6 (Shana)--Research for the development of oil fields is to be assigned to universities and research centers.The assignment is taking place at a ceremony on Monday in the presence of Minister of Petroleum Bijan Namdar Zangeneh.
The development follows Zangenehs recent insistence on the contribution of universities and research institutes to the development of oil fields.
The minister said studies on a number of hydrocarbon reserves have to be assigned to research institutes.
Zangeneh said six Iranian universities have potentialities to conduct the studies.
