TEHRAN Sept 28 (Shana)--Foreign visitors from India, UAE and the Caucasus have crowded the 9th Iran Plast exhibitions.
The engineering director of an Iranian polypropylene company said he was surprised to see so many foreign customers and visitors at this year's showcase.

"It was astounding for us to see so many foreign visitors at 2014 Iran Plast," said Abolfazl Kiani.

Kiani said most of the visitors are from regional countries like Turkey, the United Arab Emirates, India and the newly independent Caucasus states.

However, he said, Iranian companies do not sign contracts with foreign customers visiting the showcase due to certain regulations the company follows.

The 9th International Exhibition of Plastics, Rubber, Equipment and Machinery (Iran Plast) is running at Tehran's permanent fairgrounds and will wrap up on September 29. The showcase opened on Thursday September 16 in the presence of Petroleum Minister Bijan Namdar Zanganeh and many other government officials and petrochemical industrialists.
