Tehran, Sept 24, IRNA - Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance Ali Jannati here on Tuesday pledged that in the near future, Iranian musicians will stage performances in the best European halls.Jannati further proposed that a music museum be established to showcase documents pertaining to Iranian music academies.
Speaking in a ceremony at Music Art School to mark the beginning of the new academic year in Iran, the minister said, September 22 (the beginning of the school year in Iran) always reminds us of childhood liveliness, excitement and enthusiasm for learning new things.
He added that Iranian people love knowledge and learning. Iran has always been the cradle of science and education bringing up many great scholars who have all become shining stars in science and arts.
Art is the best manifestation of Gods creation which sublimes human beings and raises their understanding of the universe and its Creator, he noted.
