A number of Chinese screen productions is slated to be displayed in the Film Museum of Iran in the capital city of Tehran.Five documentaries and 15 movies will be showcased during the festival to introduce Chinese cinema.
Iranian Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance Ali Jannati, Chinese Ambassador Pang Sen and director of the State Administration of Press, Publication, Radio, Film and Television of the Peoples Republic of China (SAPPRFT) Tong Gang are will be attending the opening ceremony of the festival.
The festival has been organized by the Cinema Organization of Iran in collaboration with Chinas SAPPRFT.
Many Iranian screen productions have been displayed in chinas various film events such as Shanghai film festival.
Chinese film festival is scheduled to be presented in Iran from September 17 to 21.
