Greco-Roman wrestler Hamid Sourian wins sixth world title
TEHRAN (Tasnim) - Iranian Greco-Roman wrestler Hamid Sourian claimed his sixth world title in the world championships on Sunday.



�In the final match held at the Gymnastics Palace in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, the 59kg wrestler defeated Mingiyan Semenov from Russia 2-1 and won the title.


Sourian has previously won the gold medal at the 2005 Budapest, 2006 Guangzhou, 2007 Baku, 2009 Herning and 2010 Moscow.

Sourian also claimed a gold medal at the 2012 Olympic Games as well as two Asian Championships gold medals in 2007 Bishkek and 2008 Jeju City respectively.

Norway�s Stig Andr� Berge and Elmurat Tasmuradov from Uzbekistan jointly won the bronze medal.
