TEHRAN August 23 (Shana)--It is expected before the end of the current Iranian calendar year to March 20 2015 enough euro-4 gasoline and gasoil is to be available to cover the fuel needs of eight mega cities of the country, a move that is planned to be extended to all cities of the country a year later.
Addressing an annual meeting of public relations officials of the National Iranian Oil Refining and Distribution Company (NIORDC), Abbas Kazemi said it is hoped distribution of euro-4 gasoline will become operational in 8 mega cities of the country before next March, adding that installation of necessary facilities is underway in Mashhad for delivery of euro-4 gasoline to the citys gas stations.
Kazemi noted that he was certain that five mega cities of the country will be able to distribute eruo-4 gasoil up to March 2015.
Kazemi also said that public relations can play a crucial role in providing necessary information about the activities of NIORDC regarding production and distribution of oil products.
Stating that some media disseminate false information about the activities of NIORDC, Kazemi said: "We are committed to safe and timely production and distribution of energy".
