TEHRAN August (Shana)--Abadan Oil Refinery is to focus 80 percent of its capacity on euro-4 gasoline, a top official of National Iranian Oil Refining and Distribution Company (NIORDC) said.
�Saeed Mahjoubi said the refinery is already producing 11.5 million liters of gasoline.


He said that studies are under way on a development project for Abadan refinery for increasing distillate production.

Under this development project, a new refining unit with a capacity of 210,000 b/d will become operational.

This project is estimated to cost more than IRR 111 trillion.
