Hamas to UN: Break your silence on Israel crimes!
A senior official form the Palestinian resistance movement has called on the United Nations and other international bodies to break their silence on Israeli crimes against Palestinians in the besieged Gaza Strip.
Hamass spokesman Sami Abu Zuhri described the attacks by Israel as crimes against humanity.

Abu Zuhri added that Israel deceived the whole world by claiming that one of its soldier was captured in a bid to break a recent UN-brokered ceasefire and attack innocent Palestinians in Rafah and several other towns.

The United Nations has warned of a looming health and humanitarian crisis in Gaza.

The UN officials deployed to the region say medical services and facilities in the Gaza Strip are "on the verge of collapse" after weeks of intense Israeli offensivein the tiny enclave.

The UN senior officials in Gaza demand an immediate halt to the ongoingattacks against Palestinian civilians.

Meanwhile, a Palestinian delegation has arrived in Cairo to start Egyptian-mediated talks on a possible ceasefire in the Gaza Strip.

The Palestinianside in Cairo, whose representatives are officials from Hamas and the Palestinian Authority, has reportedly formed a draft to be put to discussion.

The document explains Palestinian conditions. According to the main terms, Israel should immediately withdraw troops from Gaza, end the 8-year blockade on the region and grant Palestinians freedom of movement.

Israel has announced it will not send a representative to the negotiations.

The developments come as overall Palestinian death toll since July 8 has reached 1,766. Over 400 children are among them. More than 9,300 people have also been injured.
