Gaza, July 14, IRNA Ceasefire is not even on the agenda of Palestinian resistance movements, Hamas spokesman Sami Abu Zahri said on Monday.
Talking to IRNA, he noted that Palestinian resistance movements are prepared for a long war and would continue resistance against the occupying Zionist regime.
He denied media reports on considering a ceasefire with the Zioinst regime, noting that there is a lot of nonsense in the media about a calming down agreement with the occupation forces but all such talk is groundless.
?We in Hamas are acting in self-defense. The problem is in the occupation forces attacking us. It is the right of our people to repulse the aggression through all possible means, Abu Zahri added.
He asserted that Hamas has not already used all its capabilities against the occupying regime of Tel Aviv.
How Hamas can agree to ceasefire when scores of the Palestinian women and children have been killed by the occupying regime? Abu Zahri asked.
The Zionist regime has launched over 200 air strikes against civilian targets in Gaza in the past seven days.
The death toll in Gaza has risen to at least 172 while several hundreds have been wounded. Most of the victims are women and children.
