We also wish the relations between Azerbaijan and Iran to be strengthened and improved.The UK wants Azerbaijan and Iran to take an active part in Europes oil and gas supply, UK Minister of State for Energy Michael Fallon told journalists in Baku, APA reports.
He said that there are certain difficulties regarding the Iranian nuclear program.
However, we wish to solve the problems and cooperate with Iran in Eiropes oil and gas supply. This is of both strategic and political significance, the Minister said.
Fallon stated that the UK sees Azerbaijan as a stable state in the region and takes a positive approach toward Azerbaijans wish to develop cooperation with its neighbors.
