TEHRAN July 5 (Shana)--Iran Gas Trunkline-1 (IGAT-1) transferred 8.7 bcm of gas in the first quarter of the current calendar year which started on March 21, IGAT-1 director said.
�Abdol-Hossein Koutaki said the transferred gas volume was 30 percent up from a year ago.



He said the gas supplied to Bidboland refinery for treatment exceeded 2 bcm, 23 percent higher than last year.
IGAT-1 transferred 3.4 bcm of gas to oil fields across Iran during the three-month period, adding that the gas has reached Aghajari, Koranj and Koupal oil fields.
Aghajari field received 2.4 bcm of gas and the rest went to Koranj and Koupal fields.
