New Zealand eager to boost ties with Iran
TEHRAN (FNA)- New Zealander Ambassador to Tehran Eamonn OShaughnessy said that his country has a plan to bolster political and economic ties with Iran, after Tehran and the Group 5+1 (the US, Britain, France, Russia and China plus Germany) hopefully cut a final deal in their next round of talks on July 2.
In an exclusive interview with Iran Daily, OShaughnessy said that his countrys government and officials are closely watching what is happening in Irans nuclear talks with the six major world powers in Vienna, Austria and are hopeful that both sides would reach favorable outcome.

New Zealand has had an embassy in Tehran since April 1975, making it the countrys longest-standing mission in the Middle East.
