Agricultural goods trading rise by 111 percent in Iran
TEHRAN (ISNA)- Director of Statistics and Assessment of Iran's Mercantile Exchange (IME) Performance Pejman Saat-Saz said the country has raised agricultural goods transactions over the first three months of the Iranian calendar year (started on March 21) by 111 percent.
13.070 tons of all agricultural goods, worth $7.880.000 were traded in the IME, raising respectively by 111 and 283 percent in terms of volume and value comparing to similar period last year.

He said gold bullion trading rose by 1700 percent comparing to similar period last year, and added that 126 kilograms of gold bullion were traded during the period.

Over the first three months, 818.000 tons of all goods were traded in Kish Exports Hall, raising respectively by 30 and 17 percent comparing to similar period last year.

He also said over 2.5 million tons of all petrochemical and oil products were traded in the IME during the period.
