Tehran, June 12, IRNA - Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei on Thursday agreed to pardon or reduce prison terms of 1,052 inmates.
The move was made on the eve of the auspicious birth anniversary of Imam Mahdi (may God hasten his reappearance).
The Leader?s move was in response to proposal of Judiciary Chief Ayatollah Sadeq Amoli Larijani.
