Photos: Iran successfully launches Mahda satellite into space

The Iran Project : Iranian home-grown satellite "Mahda" along with two other nanosatellites, Kayhan-2 and Hatef-1, were sent into outer space on Simorgh-1 satellite carrier on Sunday morning.
According to The Iran Project, three Iranian home-built satellites including Mahda, Keyhan-2, and Hatef-1, were successfully launched simultaneously into orbit with a minimum altitude of 450 kilometers and a maximum of 1,100 kilometers above the Earth's surface.

The most remarkable achievement of this launch was the multiple injection operation, which was successfully carried out.

"Mahda" is one of the lightweight satellites developed by the Iran Space Research Center used to test indigenous satellite systems.
