ISNA | Hamid Amlashi: The extraordinary meeting of the Palestine Committee of Islamic Inter-Parliamentary Unions (IPU) opened in in Tehran on Monday. Iranian Parliament Speaker Ali Larijani and Secretary General of the Islamic Inter-Parliamentary Union Mahmud Erol K?l? are slated to deliver speeches at the meeting. The meeting is being held at the request of the Iranian Majlis speaker, who is also the periodical chairman of Islamic Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU), to discuss US President Donald Trumps decision to recognize al-Quds (Jerusalem) as the capital of the Zionist regime.
